4U 19" PXIe Chassis with 18 Slots and PCIe Gen2/3

The 4U 19" PXI Express desktop chassis provide 16 hybrid-compatible slots for 3U PXIe boards, one timing slot and one system slot. The 14579-040 version offers PCIe Gen3 switching with a 4 link configuration (4 x 4), the 14579-043 version provides PCIe Gen2 switching in a 4 link configuration (4 x 1), and the 14579-044 version provides PCIe Gen2 and Gen3 switching with a 4 link configuration (Gen 3: 2 x 4 and Gen 2: 2 x 1). The chassis utilize two PCI segments with a dedicated PCIe-to-PCI bridge module for the hybrid slots. The PXI specific high accuracy clock and trigger signals are generated and controlled by an independent clock module on the rear of the backplane. The chassis, with 19-inch mounting brackets and handles, have a 960W open frame power supply with IEC receptacle and are cooled from the bottom to the rear with three 120mm temperature-controlled fans. 50W power per slot at 15K temperature increase is possible.
