cPCI-6636 6U CompactPCI Core i7 Gen. 6 or Xeon E3 CPU Board with up to 32 GB RAM, SEMA Support and opt. XMC Site

Core i7 Gen. 6 or Xeon E3 CPU Board. The boards are available with a 2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon E3-1505M v5 or 2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7-6820EQ or a 2.7 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i3-6100E CPU. Up to 32 GB DDR4-2133 SDRAM are soldered and mounted on the board. The CM236 chipset supports ECC SDRAM.

The cPCI-6636 series offers four Gigabit Ethernet ports, up to 8 USB 3.0 ports, up to 6 RS-232 ports or one RS-232/422/485 port, one SATA 6Gbit/s port, three SATA 3Gbit/s ports, one SATA 6Gbit/s port for an onboard 2.5 HDD/SSD and audio interfaces. The boards support DirectX 12 and OpenGL up to version 4.5. The 4HP version has a CFast socket and the 8HP versions have a XMC site. The cPCI-6636 and cPCI-6636D versions have a DVI-I port and two DVI ports via rear I/O. The cPCI-6636DZ version provides two VGA front panel ports.

Two Gigabit Ethernet ports, one RS-232 port, 3 USB 3.0 ports, and one DVI-I port are on the front panel. The cPCI-6636D version has additional XMC front I/O. The cPCI-6636DZ version provides 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports, 8 USB 3.0 ports, 3 RS-232 ports, 2 VGA ports and XMC front I/O.

Board Support Packages are available for Microsoft Windows 10 (64bit), Microsoft Windows 7 Pro (64bit), RHEL 7.3 and above (64bit), Ubuntu 16.10 (64bit), Fedora 22 (64bit), and VxWorks 7.
