3U VPX Board with Xilinx UltraScale Processor and FMC+ Site

The 3U 4HP VPX board has an Xilinx UltraScale KU060, KU085 or KU115 FPGA and a VITA 57.4 compliant FMC+ site. The IC-FEP-VPX3f VPX from INTERFACE CONCEPT is VITA 66.5 compliant and has a better performance / power consumption ratio compared to previous FPGAs. The 3 FPGAs are available with speed grade 1, 2 and 3.

Up to 8 GB DDR4 SDRAM and 384 MB QSPI flash are available. The Fabric links of the VPX backplane are connected to the FPGA GTHs transceivers allowing data rates up to 16.3 Gbps and 28 GPIOs.

The Embedded Hard IP Resources can be used to implement PCI Express Gen2 / Gen3 links, as well as the 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports (XAUI, 10GBase-KR) or Xilinx Aurora.

I/O processing is handled on a separate VITA 57.4 FMC+ module that plugs into the FPGA base board. A variety of these external I/O cards offer an interface for your analogue and digital I/O signals.

The IC-FEP-VPX3f is compliant with 3U module definitions of the VITA 46.0 standard, and optionally with the VITA 66.5 standard when it is populated with the LightConex™ transceivers. It is available in air-cooled and conduction cooled versions compliant with VITA 47 classes.
