4U 19" PXIe Chassis with 18 Slots and PCIe Gen3 x8

The 4U 19" PXI Express desktop chassis provides 16 hybrid-compatible x8 Gen3 slots for 3U PXIe boards, one timing slot and one system slot. The 14579-042 offers PCIe Gen3 switching in a 2 link configuration (1 x 16 and 1 x 8). The chassis utilizes two PCI segments with a dedicated PCIe-to-PCI bridge module for the hybrid slots. The PXI specific high accuracy clock and trigger signals are generated and controlled by an independent clock module on the rear of the backplane. The chassis with 19-inch mounting brackets and handles has 2x 900W (1800W) pluggable power supplies with IEC socket. The cooling concept consists of an airflow from the bottom to the back and three 120mm temperature controlled fans. 80W power per slot at 15K temperature increase are possible. In addition the chassis also offers four trigger inputs/outputs via SMA connectors. None or 8 trigger inputs/outputs are possible on request.
