BA 2TR/501 3U VPX Board with 8 Serial Interfaces

The 3U VPX board providing up to eight serial communications ports is compatible with OpenVPX (VITA 65) BKP3-CEN06-15.2.2-3 and SLT3-PAY-1F2F2U profiles. Air cooled and conduction-cooled versions are available from CONCURRENT Technologies.

The conduction-cooled cooled variants have 5 RS-232 or 5 RS-422/485 ports on VPX connector P2. The channels support TXD, RXD, CTS, RTS, DCD, DSR and DTR on RS422/485 mode. The RS-422/485 mode supports simplex or duplex mode, selectable RXD resistor termination, master/slave selection accessible via software and channel flow control selectable by DTR or RTS.

Additional the air cooled versions have three RS-232/422/485 front panel ports. The RS-232 mode supports TXD, RXD, CTS, RTS, DCD, DSR, DTR and RI. The RS-422/485 modes supports TXD and RXD.

The boards are available with Microsoft Windows, Linux and VxWorks.
