3U VPX 12 Port 1/10/40GbE and 6 Port PCIe Layer 2+/3 Switch

3U VPX 1/10/40GbE Layer 2+/3 hybrid managed switch with up to 12 ports and 6 PCIe Gen3 ports. Powered by the latest highly integrated Marvell System Chip (SoC) with programmable packet processors and controlled by Switchware, Interface Concept's field-proven network management application, the ComEth4412a series offers a high number of 1/10/40GbE ports. One 40GbE, seven 10GbE, one GbE ports and 6 PCIe ports or 11 10GbE, one GbE ports and 6 PCIe ports are available. Switchware supports a wide range of Layer 2/3 functions that can be managed via an easy-to-use graphical user interface (GUI), command line interface (CLI) or SNMP (v2c or v3). The switch supports partitioning, upstream, downstream and non-transparent port modes (one NTB per partition).

The ComEth4412a was developed in alignment with the SOSA (Sensor Open Systems Architecture) technical standard. The SOSA (Sensor Open Systems Architecture) consortium is a voluntary, consensus-based member consortium of the Open Group, a vendor-neutral technology standards organization that develops an open technical standard for sensors. The switch also supports VPX System Management as defined by VITA 46.11 and based on the Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI v1.5) for sensor management (temperature, voltage, current), inventory management, system configuration, recovery and diagnostic management. It supports IEEE 1588 PTP (Precision Time Protocol) for precise network timing and provides non-volatile memory protection (NVMRO).

The ComEth4412a series is for five different environmental specifications: standard operating temperature range (0°C .. 55°C), extended operating temperature range (-20°C .. +65°C), rugged operating temperature range (-40°C .. +75/85°C), conduction cooled (-40°C .. +71°C) and conduction cooled (-40°C .. +85°C).
